WPIDS 0.1.2: Triggered a Fatal Error

Hello Philnate

When activate WPIDS 0.1.2 plugin i got errors, as seen below:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '=', expecting ')' in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/xxxxxxx/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-ids/wp-ids.php on line 623

Btw, my wp blog hosted by 3FN.Net on FreeBSD machine. Please give directions. Thank you.

This error seems to be caused by a wrong PHP version, please make sure that you're Running PHP5.1.6 at least, as this is needed for PHPIDS to work correctly, and HTMLPurifier as well.
Currently only PHPIDS isn't executed if the PHP version is lower, HTMLPurifier is it still. Anyway without PHPIDS running WPIDS isn't too much worth at all.

Thank a bunch for your nice direction. Yeah, my hosting provider running PHP 4.4.1. I will contact them to update it. But if i still get that problem, so please give help, okay?. Thank you.

One thing I have to change for sure is that HTMLPurifier isn't used further if PHP5 isn't available. But as told already it's quite useless to have WPIDS running without PHP5, as the core of this application is then not working.
And HTMLPurifier would be available as single Plugin as well. Furthermore is PHP 4 no longer supported and so it's prone to attacks, even more if I see that your Version is 4.4.1 which is by far not the latest PHP4 version which is 4.4.8, and it's known that this version is vulnerable to several attacks.

Thank for your directions. My site has been moved to another server that running PHP 5.1.6. But, unfortunately, after successfully activated, then i got just a blank page when visiting my blog. i don't see any errors in my browser.

Please give help. Thank you.
